    Excellent florist. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.The flower tributes were exactly what I wanted and looked beautiful. Highly recommended. Thank you.

    I am incredibly disappointed with the service that I have received from Buds of May. If I could leave 0 starts I would. I had taken the time to go into the shop multiple times in the last few months since February trying to get quotes and sit down properly to go over exactly what I wanted for my wedding, initially I was told I had loads of time and to come back after Valentine’s Day as the shop was busy trying to get orders out for customers. I was then asked to come back multiple times to speak to Sarah directly and on arrival she was not there or again the staff were busy with Mother’s Day flowers etc. Finally I caught Sarah on Friday after popping in atleast 4/5 times prior and was able to run over everything at last, Sarah had actually checked the calendar on Friday herself whilst I was there and confirmed that this date was available and that she would gather the details and return a quote to me today (Tuesday 14th May). I then received an email this evening detailing that due to recent staff holiday bookings they are unavailable to do my wedding flowers for my date. I am absolutely shocked by the number‬ of times I was fobbed off due to the shop being busy with other orders (Valentine’s/Mother’s day) and then being told to come back multiple times to speak to Sarah directly and her not even being there. Additionally it was never mentioned that they were unavailable for this date, in fact they had even checked the calendar multiple times when I had visited the shop and hadn’t expressed that it may not be possible, I would’ve thought that if they had a provisional booking/a customer clearly interested in booking for a wedding then staff holiday wouldn’t have been approved. I am now just over 3 months away from my wedding and will have to start over finding another florist. I hope that they address this issue as I’m sure other customers would not be happy to receive the same service that I have from Buds of May.
