  I recently visited Shaftesbury and found Acanthus Flowers and Home, the most beautiful florist on the High Street. Genny (the owner) has a wonderful selection of flowers for sale and she made me a gorgeous hand tie bouquet while I waited. Fantastic personalised service, thank you Genny I will certainly visit you again.

  Genista's flowers are always stunning - she has such a flair for colours and is a true artist. It's worthwhile popping her store too as I picked up some beautiful arty coasters - fox and full moon - lots of goodies for your home.

  A wonderful find in Shaftesbury. The doorway and window displays lure you in, to a an Aladdin's cave of not only flowers, both cut and potted but a varied and ever changing selection of housewares, gifts, cards and pictures. There is always something else just around the corner and I always make a point of visiting Acanthus when in Shaftesbury and rarely leave without a purchase.

  What a gorgeous shop! Beautiful long-lasting flowers, great choice and unusual colours. The homeware is very pretty and I could happily take it all home with me. Just what Shaftesbury needs.
